i am a big fan of a good steak. just check out the squire's loft and the grill room reviews. it's not that i'm a big meat eater at all - i generally choose the vegetation option and don't really cook meat at home - but fuck, the point is another step up in the steak stakes. they have their own meat supply (i think they have their own farm) so their beef is probably some of the best available.

the point is quite small and the waiters are professional so service is second to none. they have their own sommelier (look it up, bozo) and a killer wine list. we started with oysters but before we got them, the boys at the point produced an amazing cauliflower appetizer. it's those little touches that make dinner an experience. the steak was awesome, not too much, not too little. and the dessert plate just big enough for two to share a bite of each. i would have been appalled if they couldn't do good coffee - i wasn't appalled.

i don't need to sell the point to you. the food, service and wines are first class. i just don't want to make it sound so good that that everyone will want to go and i won't be able to get a table ever again. remember, i suck at making plans in advance. you do pay more for what you get so it's not like you'll do dinner there every night. or maybe you will in which case if you're a hot chick, call me. seriously, call me.
