taller de tapas - barcelona spain

loud, cheerful, good menu, efficient waiters and food arrives in a time warp - almost sooner than you ordered it. you can watch your food being cooked in what might be described as military precision - there's no running or shouting, just eating/drinking and loud voices. not for the intimate dinner, and very definitely barcelona.

we thought we'd found a unique eatery in a small square until we ran into another taller de tapas...and then a third. i suspect that there are more making it part of a chain. i tend to not recommend chains but taller is not your pizza hut or burger king of tapas. each place seems to have its own menu and certainly has its own character. we must have hit one of the really good ones and if i can remember the address i'll post it later.
