bofinger - paris france

the name sounds dirty but it isn't. it's quite the parisian restaurant with waiters with attitude and bohemian guests wearing cravats. we were able to get an english menu but i'm glad we did the ordering in french. the couple beside us had to deal with the stereotypical arrogant asshole that is the parisian waiter.

that's not to say that they were all bad. the older staff, while brisk, were really good. the younger staff were the aforementioned assholes. the menu was wonderful, though, with great oysters, bread and an extensive wine list. well, what would you expect in paris?

one thing that sticks in mind is that the tables were so close together that the waiters had to slide the tables out for toilet breaks. crazy wacky, huh?

i'm going to put bofinger on the 'unlikely to go there again' list and leave it at that. we much preferred the 4 cats in barcelona anyway.
