chocolate buddha stands out in my mind as a bit of a paradox. the furniture and ambience is all 'communal this' and 'simplify that, man!' but the prices tell a different story. (b)wankers and corp-exec-wannabes powering through their lunches so they can get back to the office and do some more useless desk driving. dinner time is a bit better but only because the wankers are at trust bar, bobby mcgees or de biers. all classy places.

you will be eating at long tables (see communal eating above) where you can easily make friends, annoy other restaurant goers or develop a case of food envy. however it is very handy if you are trying to set up some group sex. not that i've done that. yet. but there's always a chance and with chocolate buddha to help me i know i can do it.

and i'm not so sure that the food is all it could be. cb is owned by the same people who own soul mamas but sm food craps all over cb food before driving away laughing maniacally. and then reverses up and finishes the job. the best that can be said is that the drinks menu is extensive and the wait staff are cute as buttons. well some of them are anyway.
