the graham hotel - cnr graham street and esplanade west port melbourne 3207 9676 2566
many years ago the graham hotel was a rundown workman's pub complete with broken floorboards. you couldn't get anything but vb beer and a few spirits. needless to say this delightful establishment did not remain.
today's graham hotel is owned and run by two brothers - tony and pete. and i swear they both look like phil collins. these boys used to run blakes in southbank and...i'm sounding like a complete tosser. who gives a shit where they used to work or what they used to do! it's what's here and now that matters.
a restaurant can be judged on how good it's bread is and how freely they serve it. the graham is an old favourite of mine with some of the best browns bread around. can't say enough good things about it. we loved the food and the wine. book before you go and expect excellent service and excellent food.
