yes it's a really dumb name. dumber when you find out it's one of two chin chins. no reference to eddie mcguire here. forget the menu in 8 point font, you can't read it. the specials board is where it's at and you can actually read that. at least you can point at it if they can't understand your order.

the ambience was slightly disturbed (violently rent apart) by four legally deaf harpies in the corner. they must have been deaf because of the sheer pitch and volume of their conversation. i'm using the word conversation in the widest sense of the meaning implying the assumption that the english language involved. their three male counterparts (assuming the fourth had gone home with bleeding from the ears) must have been stone deaf and well out of their league.

anyone ever had duck spring rolls? sounds like aerobics instructions. tastes not so much like aerobics instructions and more like more. walnut and chicken in plum sauce is not the first two things i'm going to chuck together so they probably just ran out of cashews. by the way, apparently walnuts come from germany because they need them for waldorf salad and if you write to us to tell us where they actually come from you're badly in need a life.

bottom line - good food, beers (no bloody g&ts though) and it didn't cost more than $40 for the two of us - cheaper than breakfast last saturday. good for a lot of different asian food if your eyesight is good enough to read the food menu. drinks menu was large enough. strange that.
