g&t awards

g&t awards was started because of our never ending search for perfection, presentation and falling down in the name of research. bars awarded the lime slice can expect many visits from us and our friends. the g&t, considered by many to be a fine drink, is complemented by the rare and shy cousin, the gin and bitter lemon. now, don't confuse this drink with gin and bitters. we've been served a few of those and the bar in question always gets a big fuck off.

the awards cover a number of different categories but we like to award (or mock) on the overall drinking and service experience rather that ponce about with statistics. the awards first look for a tall glass. too much lemon or lime and you're a fool. a straw in my drink is bad news. do i look like a girl? a straw missing from my co-authors drink will get her cursing like a sailor. did we have to ask for the tall glass? did we have to move back to beers because the glasses were small, the tonic flat and the gin tasted like soap?
